First, you need to download the IRCTC app directly from the play store and login to your account. Here is our step by step guide to book train ticket from IRCTC app.

Step 1: Firstly you need to download the IRCTC Rail Connect applications from Google play store or Apple store and after that login your account.

Step 2: Open the app and Tap on Train Tickets.

Step 3: Enter your IRCTC App Pin and then click Login.

Step 4: Now select your Destination, Boarding Point, and Travel Date and then click on Search Train.

Step 5: There will be many Trains to come. Select the train and then select the Class of the train (Sleeper, 3Ac, 2Ac,1Ac). Click on Book Now and move to the next step.

Step 6: After that click on Add Passenger.

Step 7: A form will appear that includes some basic information on a passenger. When the form is filled with a click on Done.

Step 8: Enter your Mobile Number and tap on Book Ticket and then enter the Captcha and click on Proceed To Payment.

Step 9: Select the Payment Methods from which you want to pay the Tickets Fare.

Step 10: Enter the Card Details and tap on Proceed To Pay.

Step 11: An OTP(One Time Password) will come to your Registered Mobile number entered the OTP which you have received on your mobile number and complete the payment.

Step 12: Once the payment was confirmed you will receive a message to your registered mobile number as well as email id. If you did not receive the SMS from IRCTC, then go through this to get SMS from IRCTC.
