To print your train ticket first you need access to your train ticket booking history and then download the relevant train ticket to print your e-ticket. There are two ways to print IRCTC train ticket one is from the IRCTC website and the other is using IRCTC official app. You can print a confirmed train ticket as well as your waiting list ticket.

Step By Step Guide To Print Train Ticket From IRCTC Website
First of all, you must have a valid User Id and Password of IRCTC. If you have forgotten your password then reset the IRCTC password and then only you can get your e-ticket directly from the IRCTC website. You can print your old ticket also. Here is our step by step guide for IRCTC ticket print.
Step 1: First of all Login to your IRCTC account to print train tickets.
Step 2: Click on My Account located at the top right corner.
Step 4:Select the ticket which you want to print.
Step 5: After selecting the ticket at the bottom you will see print E-Ticket.
Step 6: Click on Print E-Ticket and then give the Print command and take your hard copy or you can simply Save As PDF(Because we can also show our ticket in the form of Soft Copy).

This is the second method to get your IRCTC ticket downloaded in pdf format and then print. You can travel with the IRCTC ticket pdf, no need to print the train ticket. Here is our step-by-step guide to print train tickets from IRCTC official app.
Step 1: Firstly you need to download the IRCTC Rail Connect applications from the Google play store or Apple store and after that login to your account.
Step 2: Once you have logged into your account. Tap on My Bookings to check your all booked ticket history.

Step 3: Now you can see all tickets booked from the IRCTC website as well as from the IRCTC official app. Select the train ticket which you want to print.

Step 4: After selecting the train ticket you need to tap on three dots located at the top right corner and tap on the view ticket.

Step 1: First Login into your IRCTC account.

Step 3: After that Click on My Transactions and then click on Booked Ticket History. This will give you all the tickets booked from the IRCTC website as well as the IRCTC official app.
Step 4: After that, you will get all booked history. Select the tickets which you want to get the message from IRCTC.
Step 5: After that Tap on get SMS.
If you get a Waiting List ticket, then you need to read the below points to understand what you need to do.
- From Counter: If you booked your ticket from Railway Counters and it has a waiting list then you will be able to travel with that Waiting List ticket.
- From Online (IRCTC): If you booked your ticket from Online websites (IRCTC) or IRCTC App and your ticket has a waiting list then it will be automatically canceled by the IRCTC after chart preparations and you will not be able to travel with that Waiting List ticket.

As of now, there is no option to printout your ticket with the help of PNR numbers. You can get the details with the help of PNR number but that detail is not valid to show as your Ticket in railway.
We can Book Train Tickets From IRCTC Website and from offline that is Railway counter. But to book an online train ticket firstly we have to register on the IRCTC website.
